Original Recipe

Use small bar glass. One half tablespoonful of sugar, three sprigs of fresh mint and a little water well pressed and mixed together, until the flavor is extracted from the mint, a little cracked ice, 1 wine glass of Medford Rum. Shake well, dress the top with mint and fruit, and serve.

Ingredients

  • ½ tablespoon (7.5 ml) sugar
  • Water (to dissolve sugar)
  • Fresh mint sprigs
  • Cracked ice
  • 2 oz (60 ml) Medford rum

Instructions

Fill a glass with sugar dissolved in water, mint, and rum. Shake well, garnish with mint and seasonal fruit, and serve.
