Original Recipe
Use large bar glass, ½ tablespoonful of sugar, ½ of a small lemon, 1 wine glass of Brandy, 1 or 2 squirts of Seltzer Water. Fill the glass with ice, stir with spoon, and strain into Cocktail glass.
Modern Recipe
Ingredients
- ½ tablespoon (7.5 ml) sugar
- Juice of ½ small lemon
- 2 oz (60 ml) brandy
- Seltzer water
- Ice
Instructions
Fill a glass with sugar, lemon juice, brandy, and ice. Add seltzer water, stir well, and strain into a cocktail glass.
