Original Recipe

Use small bar glass. 1 tablespoonful of Jamaica Syrup, 2 or 3 pieces of dried orange peel, 1 spoonful of syrup, small quantity of shaved ice. Fill balance of the glass with Whiskey, stir with spoon and serve.

Modern Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) Jamaica syrup
  • 2-3 pieces dried orange peel
  • Shaved ice
  • Whiskey (to fill)

Instructions

Fill a glass with Jamaica syrup, orange peel, and ice. Top with whiskey, stir well, and serve.
