Original Recipe
Use a punch bowl. 1 quart bottle of Claret, ½ pint of Brandy, ½ pint of Curacao, juice of 2 Lemons, ½ pint of water, 1 wine glass of Vanilla Syrup, 1 Orange cut into slices. Sweeten to taste with sugar, mix well.
Modern Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 quart (946 ml) Claret wine
- ½ pint (236 ml) brandy
- ½ pint (236 ml) Curacao
- Juice of 2 lemons
- ½ pint (236 ml) water
- 2 oz (60 ml) vanilla syrup
- 1 orange (sliced)
- Sugar (to taste)
Instructions
Mix all ingredients in a punch bowl. Sweeten to taste, stir well, and serve.
