Original Recipe

Use large bar glass. 1 teaspoonful of sugar, 3 dashes of bitters, 1 teaspoonful of brandy, some cracked ice, 1 bottle of cider. Stir rapidly with spoon and serve.

Modern Recipe

  • ¼ oz (7.5 ml) Angostura bitters
  • ¼ oz (7.5 ml) brandy
  • Cracked ice
  • Cider

Instructions

Fill a glass with ice, add sugar, bitters, and brandy. Stir well, top with cider, and serve.
