Original Recipe

Use large bar glass, 1 tablespoonful of sugar, 1 teaspoonful of Jamaica Rum, 4 dashes of lemon juice, 1½ glasses of Medford Rum. Fill with cracked ice, shake well, ornament with orange, berries, etc., and serve with straws.

Modern Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) Jamaica rum
  • 4 dashes lemon juice
  • 3 oz (90 ml) Medford rum
  • Cracked ice

Instructions

Fill a shaker with cracked ice, add all ingredients, and shake well. Strain into a glass and garnish with orange, berries, and other seasonal fruits. Serve with straws.
