Original Recipe

Use large bar glass. 1 wine glass of Cognac Brandy, ½ wine glass of Jamaica Rum, 2 tablespoons of white sugar, ¼ of a lemon cut in small slices. Fill glass with boiling water, stir well, and grate nutmeg over the top.

Modern Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 oz (60 ml) Cognac brandy
  • 1 oz (30 ml) Jamaica rum
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) white sugar
  • ¼ lemon, sliced
  • Boiling water

Instructions

Fill a large glass with boiling water, add all ingredients, and stir well. Grate nutmeg over the top and serve hot.
