Original Recipe
Use large bar glass, 1 wine glass of Irish Whiskey, 1 teaspoonful lemon juice, 2 lumps of loaf sugar, fill glass with boiling water, put slice of lemon on top and stir well.
Modern Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 oz (60 ml) Irish whiskey
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) lemon juice
- 2 sugar cubes
- Boiling water
Instructions
Fill a glass with boiling water, add whiskey, lemon juice, and sugar cubes. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Garnish with a slice of lemon and serve hot.
