Original Recipe
Use large bar glass. 2 wine glasses of Whiskey, ½ gill of fluid Jamaica Ginger, 1 tablespoonful of sugar, 1 pony glass of French Brandy. Fill balance of the glass with hot water, and serve.
Modern Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 oz (120 ml) whiskey
- 2 oz (60 ml) Jamaica ginger fluid
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sugar
- 1 oz (30 ml) French brandy
- Hot water (to fill)
Instructions
Fill a glass with whiskey, Jamaica ginger, sugar, and brandy. Top with hot water and serve.
